Using movement, music, text and film, Essence explored how relationships with star-signs depend on beliefs held by an individual, and how such a belief (or lack of) influences our identities.

Thank you to our Essence Community Group whose interviews inspired the work, a range of wonderful participants aged 16-30 who were selected to share their opinions with our creatives, and some of who appear in the project itself.

This was a socially-distanced project, rehearsed and filmed within government guidelines relating to the COVID-19 pandemic. Funded by Arts Council England.
