FELIPE PACHECO

Co-Artistic Director

Felipe is a Brazilian-English actor and movement artist who grew up on the Wirral and is now based in London. His higher education started in the USA, where he studied dance and theatre at Columbia College Chicago (2015). On his return to the UK, he completed a BA (Hons) in Theatre and Performance at the University of Surrey (2019).


First training with their Ignition programme, Felipe is now a practitioner for Frantic Assembly, inspiring and engaging performing arts students worldwide. As part of his educational practice he also teaches young refugees, asylum seekers and ESOL students for Attic Theatre, and was a member of New AdventuresOverture cohort 2020/21.


As a movement director Felipe has worked on productions for the VAULT Festival (2019), One Big Dance (2020), and the London Bubble (2021).


For Buried Thunder, he co-directed Bead Upon Golden Bead and played The Knocker in Our Shore. He also performed in Growth and Essence.


Other recent movement credits include Emeli Sandé’s music video, Family, and B in Black for The Pappy Show (2021).


He loves football, coffee and the beach, and is always scheming in regard to Buried Thunder’s future artistic and educational output.
