SARA BENAMRI

After graduating from GSA, Sara hopes to pursue a career in performing and producing. Alongside this, Sara has a great interest in teaching and directing. She is passionate about how much more the arts can offer to individuals in terms of peoples wellbeing, confidence and social cohesion and strives to inspire this outlook within her career.

Before going to University, she studied Musical theatre at Redroofs School for the Performing Arts and has been involved in a variety of amateur productions. In her third year of University, she undertook a professional placement at Camden People’s Theatre where she was in charge of marketing for the theatre's busy festival driven programme. She was also fortunate enough to develop further skills in community outreach and producing, giving her valuable experience in how an established off-west end theatre operates in a variety of different areas.

Being half Moroccan and half British, Sara enjoys bringing a different cultural perspective to the rehearsal room. With a passion for making new work, she is proud of what the company has achieved and is excited for what the future entails.
